Sienna Re-Imagined

From the Artist :

Some places stay with us long after we have left them. They are remembered not through their streets or monuments, but through the colours, textures and emotions they leave behind. Siena Re-Imagined is an original abstract landscape painting inspired by the timeless character of Siena, Italy. Rather than recreating the city as it appears, the painting reflects the warmth of its sunlit buildings, the richness of its history and the quiet strength that seems to linger in its ancient walls. It is a personal interpretation of a place remembered through feeling rather than detail. Part of the Landscapes Remembered series, the painting celebrates the way places continue to live within us, long after the journey has ended.
